Godwyn Crosse
He is an Anglo-Indian who hails from the scenic hill station of Ooty. He studied at The Laidlaw Memorial School and Junior College where he completed the ISC +2 examination and then moved to Mysore where he graduated in B.Com. from St Philomena's College. With a dynamic career spanning over two decades, he is a strategic and results-oriented professional who has made significant contributions across various industries, including Telecom, Banking, and Entrepreneurship.
He commenced his professional journey in 1997 with Tata Donnelley Ltd, delving into the Yellow Pages industry where he honed his skills in sales selling ad space for the TYP directory.
From 1998 to 2002, he played a pivotal role at Asian Paints India Limited, excelling in retail sales and distribution. He was recognized and awarded as the Best TSI for two consecutive years (1999-2000 and 2000-2001)
In 2002, he embraced the dynamic Telecom sector, contributing to the successful launch of Reliance Infocomm Ltd. over three years.
For 11 impactful years, between 2005 and 2016, he made substantial contributions to ICICI Bank Limited. Holding regional roles for the state of Karnataka and a zonal profile for South India in SMEAG briefly, he earned recognition as part of the talent pool for nine successive years. Between 2016 and 2018, he extended his financial expertise to IDFC Bank Ltd, further solidifying his standing in the sector.
In 2019, he ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing businesses in the F&B and Beauty & Wellness sectors. While the F&B venture faced challenges due to the onset of COVID-19, the Beauty and Wellness business flourished. From a single franchisee in 2019, the brand expanded to 22 operational centers by the end of 2022, with 11 additional sign-ups poised for launch in the next 6 to 12 months.
While in business Godwyn completed a master's certification in Data Science from Analytics Vidya and KPMG in February 2022 and CMA from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in March 2023.
